WORKSHOP - Presence Practice©

Presence Practice© is a methodology designed to hold you in the present moment and expand consciousness. Combining improv and acting techniques with metaphysical modalities, Presence Practice© clears away anything standing between you and the present moment. This workshop is perfect for improvisers, actors, artists, yogis, human BEings, or anyone interested in cultivating a personal path to presence. All are welcome.

Each workshop combines kriya yoga, meditation, subtle body activations, and breathing techniques to remove emotional blocks, and then progresses to improv and acting exercises and deeply present scene work. You will experience the difference between presence and everything else, you will establish your own path to presence, and you will experience holding presence in a group environment.

*Note to performers. The key to connected work is staying inside the present moment. Often the actor/improviser experiences a trigger during a performance that kicks them out of the present moment and into the mind. This creates a disconnected performance. When one can identify when they are inside or outside of the present moment and guide themself back, they can take their craft and/or life to the next level.

Be prepared to laugh, cry, deepen your connection to self, cry again, laugh again, deepen connections to others, and transform. OH and have a ridiculous amount of fun while you accomplish alllllllllllll of that ;)

Lyndsay Hailey is the co-author and first-ever emcee of Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike Live. During her residency (2017 - 2019) she was awarded ”Best Host in Las Vegas” for her role and the show has since expanded globally. Lyndsay is an alumnus of The Second City National Touring Company, The Deltones, and the iO Roadshow, with whom she toured the world performing and teaching improv, sketch comedy, and comedy writing. She starred in films including Close Quarters, Get Well Soon, and Uncle Kent 2, which won the Viewer's Choice Award at SXSW. Lyndsay is the CEO of Shoes Before Pants Productions which is slated to produce Lyndsay’s original feature film Sorostitute this fall of 2024. In addition to comedy, Lyndsay is a spiritual coach, a certified Kundalini yoga instructor, and the Founder of Presence Practice© an improv methodology that combines improv fundamentals with meditation and breath-work.
